The Thrift Shop is operated as a fundraising initiative to ensure that the high quality programs and services of The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors continue to be available to seniors in Prince Edward County to assist them to live in reasonable independence in their own homes in the community.

At the Community Care for Seniors Thrift Shop we receive donated stock, clean it, repair it, price and sell it. ALL OF THE INCOME, less operating expenses like heat and hydro, funds programs to help seniors in The County to live at home.
