Company Description

Situated in Hillier, Ontario, Trail Estate Winery is one of the newest wineries in Prince Edward County. We focus solely on small batch wines, and believe this allows us to craft wines which showcase the best sites as well as the characteristics of each varietal — all served in a warm, modern space.

We specialize in minimalist wines: Wild ferments, Skin Contact wines, obscure (but delicious) barrel ferments and Pét Nat among others. Most of our wines rate 90+, 'cause why wouldn't they? We mostly make wine from Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewürz., Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Baco Noir.
