Bay Brokerage Inc. is a fully licensed Canadian customs broker based out of Ottawa, Ontario and serving all ports of entry into Canada. Established in 2004, we have over fifty combined years of experience in the customs industry. Our Partners in Protection (P.I.P.) status, and specialized knowledge spanning multiple industries, allows us to work intimately with our clients to provide the highest levels of service.

Bay Brokerage excels where some large scale customs brokerage services falter - we strive to create a trade partnership with our clients by offering round-the-clock, personalized, and guaranteed service tailored to each client's individual needs. While some companies use customs regulations to justify why something can't be done, Bay Brokerage, in contrast, has historically used these same regulations to develop mechanisms to achieve desired results. By doing so, we are able to offer best-in-industry release times for shipments, virtually eliminating demurrage costs for our clients, and helping to streamline the import process to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Bay Brokerage not only serves the traditional broker/client relationship of reporting goods, and collecting duties and taxes on behalf of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), but is also able to offer clients information on how to become, or remain trade compliant with the most up-to-date CBSA regulations, virtually eliminating any penalties, or additional costs associated with the importation of goods. This is achieved, in part, through our Partners in Protection certification through CBSA, which not only certifies Bay Brokerage as a trusted trader, but ensures that our staff are aware of any security issues that might arise over the course of the import process, and take proactive steps to avoid any associated delays. Over time, Bay Brokerage has managed to retain its core staff group, ensuring continuity and consistency, so that any representative is well informed, and ready to deal with any issues that may come up in a timely, seamless manner.
