Westwood Designco. encompasses a group of companies supporting its fully integrated Timber to Table products operation.



We believe in sourcing ethically from our tree services removing dead, damaged, or dying trees which are milled at our sawmill and dried through our kiln to turn into beautiful pieces of heirloom furniture that will endure for generations.



I had a vision for this business when I started my forestry career with Timber Kings and Pioneer Log Homes while in Williams Lake, BC. A close friend of mine had a Douglas fir tree standing between his home and garage that needed to come down, which was to be turned into firewood.



This was the very first tree that I chainsaw-milled ever! Once the tree came down I saw the character in the crotch of the log that was located 80 feet up in the tree and thought, this is a keeper! Spanning 11 feet long and 54 inches wide I brought home to become the island top in my kitchen. Now the Douglas fir will endure generations to come in my family creating new memories. From a standing tree to its forever home to have conversations and laughter around, and build lasting memories with my son Sawyer.



In 2017 I returned to my hometown in Ontario to finally share this dream through Westwood Designco. for other families to be able to build their dream furniture piece. An heirloom to pass down that can hold everlasting memories.
