Company Description

Joel Bootsma has been a professional music educator for over 20 years. He has taught K-12 general music, concert band, jazz band, and choir. He began teaching private violin/viola lessons from his home studio in British Columbia, and is now giving violin lessons in Belleville, Ontario. In addition to teaching young people, Joel has also worked with adults, directing community band, church choir, and community choir. He is an active member of the Quinte Symphony, Northumberland Orchestra and Chorus, and the Phoenix Ensemble. Joel is also available to provide live music for weddings and other special events - he will play as a soloist, in a duet, or part of a larger ensemble.
